The Vehicle Undercarriage Inspection Ramp is built around patent pending advanced Digital Optical Technology that:
- Captures two simultaneous images, one forward and one back view, to ensure foreign objects can not be hidden on top of axils or in pockets under the vehicle.
- Searches for and identifies foreign objects.
- Captures "finger print" images of vehicles
- System captures vehicle image, auto-detects any foreign objects and alerts security personnel
- Has a fully integrated and dynamic data base of vehicle "finger prints"
- Records the date and time of all vehicles inspected
- Automatically recalls and compares undercarriage images based on the vehicle finger print
- Searches motor vehicles traveling over the system at speeds up to 15 mph
- Enables security personnel to observe vehicles safely from up to 2000 feet away from the ramp when deployed in a standalone structure
- Can be networked with other AUVIS units to enable the monitoring of numerous entry points within a local or wide area network
- Integrates with other access control technologies for example: barriers, biometrics systems consisting of fingerprint readers, facial recognition etc; chemical, biological, nuclear sensors; backscatter x-raying equipment; smart card readers; weigh-in-motion systems; PTZ cameras etc.
Scanner has the following features:
- Available in either an embedded or mobile configuration
- Auto power sourcing 110 230 VAC. Can be powered either by 120 . 230 VAC or 24 VDC
- Vehicle undercarriages are illuminated by red LED units spread along lighting rails on the front and back of theunit(>100,000 hours of continuous operation and cool to the touch)
- Is environmentally hardened and sealed to perform in harsh environments from 14 to 140 degrees F without a heating or cooling unit.
- Contains viewing glass that is hydrophobic and both AR and AG treated
- Contains no moving parts
- Contains embedded front image camera or optional external vehicle view camera to include license plate reader
- High resolution, High Speed industrial area scan camera to capture two simultaneous views of under vehicle image
- Contains military bayonet connectors to link to power, CAT5E, Proximity Sensor, Traffic light and Driver imagecamera
- Operates remotely from monitor through:
- CAT5E (1000 Base T Ethernet) cable up to 300 ft away
- Multi mode fiber optic cable up to 2000 feet, or
- Wireless up to 600 ft away
