G4S and Gatekeeper Security Agreement
G4S and Gatekeeper Security Agreement

Mr. David I. Hudson, MBE, Regional President, North Africa, Middle East & Southern Asia for G4S and Mr. Chris Millar, CEO for Gatekeeper Technology of Virginia, USA signed an agreement to promote the exclusive range of Gatekeeper Automatic Under Vehicle Inspection Systems (AUVIS) badged and modeled for G4S on 3rd November 2009.

The highlight of these systems is that it can automatically identify foreign objects, such as potential explosives, strapped to the underbelly of vehicles without depending on an operator to determine if there is anything amiss, whereas all other like systems are similar in pricing levels depend on operators to see and identify suspicious packages, if any. Other intelligent features like License Plate Recognition, Remote Diagnostics, etc. are also available in this system. These units provide the highest resolution imagery within the industry and have several industry approvals and an extensive database of installations.

“We are proud to announce that Al Mulla Group in Kuwait has initiated and already installed eight such systems and G4S India has procured orders for four systems,” said Chris Millar, Gatekeeper CEO.  “With the signing of this agreement, we are confident to provide better services to our customers particularly embassies, hotels, and high risk/security buildings.”

About Gatekeeper

Gatekeeper is an American advanced technology company dedicated to the development and worldwide deployment of security systems that allow the underside of vehicles of all descriptions to be automatically searched and drivers and passengers to be screened from a safe distance.  Gatekeeper's automatic under vehicle inspection systems (AUVIS) are designed to provide the first line of defense against foreign and domestic threats no matter the means of ground travel (i.e., cars, trucks, trains, etc.).

Gatekeeper's philosophy is that security should not hinder the flow of commerce or the quality of life. Rather, both should be enhanced through the use of non-intrusive, artificial intelligence-based physical security systems.  For more information, visit www.gatekeepersecurity.com.
