Northfield Village, Ohio, USA:  Bomb Suspect Arrested By Northfield Village Police: Authorities have arrested a man suspected of leaving an explosive device attached to a Northfield Village police officer’s personal vehicle.  Justin M. Fillinger, 24, is being held in the Summit County Jail on charges of attempted aggravated arson, illegal weapon possession, unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance and inducing panic. Fillinger was arrested Friday after he was found hiding in a home in Garfield Heights. Police Chief Mark Wentz said the investigation was aided by federal agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification.  Fillinger is accused of hiding a 5-inch device packing the power of a half-stick of dynamite on a rear wheel of a Jeep owned by a village police officer and parked at the village lot.  On May 20, the officer spotted the device, which malfunctioned and did not detonate, and contacted the Summit County bomb squad. The device, placed near the Jeep’s gas tank, was strong enough to kill, the chief said.  Akron Beacon Journal, 12 JUL 2011
