John brings innovation and passion to engineering, business development and electronics systems design. He has extensive experience working within the military and the private sector.
John began his diverse engineering career working for the US Navy where he accomplished everything from the design of radar system installations to testing and troubleshooting of ship alterations and repairs. As his DoD career culminated, he traveled the world as an on-site casualty repair representative for Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
John transitioned from a civil servant to a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor in 1998 when he joined Tracor which soon became Marconi and then BAE Systems. Two years later, he advised on the formation of Innovative Solutions Consulting, Inc. (ISC), a DoD consulting firm in Southern Maryland. John later joined ISC as an owner and partner where he was instrumental in the growth of the company as revenues doubled year after year.
Shortly after leaving Southern Maryland, John joined DiamondWare, Ltd. as its chief operating officer, senior partner and owner. In addition to the day-to-day business of running the company, he was responsible for business development, resulting in a 10-fold increase in revenue over two years.
John graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1989 with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.
