Christopher A. Millar
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Mr. Christopher A. Millar is a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Gatekeeper, Inc. Mr. Millar's professional experiences have taken him around the world, working in countries such as New Zealand, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Australia, the United Kingdom, India, South Korea, and the United States to name a few.

Before establishing Gatekeeper Mr. Millar had significant exposure in the area of computer vision as it applies to the defense and homeland security industries. Building on this experience and his international finance and investment knowledge Mr. Millar built a team of outstanding professionals to design and develop a range of exceptional and unique access control technologies.

Mr. Millar's international investment banking experience includes recognition by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as a Banking Policy Expert and as a result wrote an extensive research paper for the ADB on integration of the Asian regional banking industry.

In addition Mr. Millar served as CEO and President of Argent Capital Corporation. As the CEO of Argent Capital Corporation (a publicly listed NASDAQ corporation) he was responsible for developing a business model that has now been adopted by several large financial institutions in the US. Mr. Millar has also held director and senior management positions with several large financial institutions for example, Managing Director of Bankers Trust Company in Hong Kong and Executive Director of Bancorp Capital Markets.


Mr. Barcus has a distinguished 30-year career serving in senior management positions with large and small, public and private companies in the telecommunications industry. He has a broad background in engineering, operations, marketing, sales, customer service and finance from his work with service providers, hardware and software system suppliers and early stage venture capital investing.

Prior to joining Gatekeeper, Mr. Barcus was a partner at Newroad Partners, a boutique M&A Advisory firm focused on small to mid-market sized companies in the technology sector. Prior to joining Newroad, Mr. Barcus was General Partner at Avansis Ventures, a venture capital firm backed by Oak Investment Partners and NEA that was focused on early stage technology companies in wireless, software, data storage and medical information technology. While at Avansis he was retained by US Venture Partners and NEA to be CEO of Yafo Networks, an optical technology company specializing in polarization mode dispersion detection and compensation systems for fiber optic networks.

Richard Barcus
President
Prior to Avansis, Mr. Barcus was President and COO of Tellium, an optical switching company building switching platforms for large public networks. During his time at Tellium, he was responsible for all operational aspects of the business -550 employees, 6 locations (5 domestic, 1 UK), external financial, industry and customer relationships. He developed a new strategic plan, built an outstanding senior executive team, directly supervised engineering and product development, established sales and customer service, and built manufacturing facilities. He helped raise over $400M over five rounds of equity financing including $155M in the company.s IPO in May 2001. Tellium was acquired by Zhone Technologies in 2003.

Previous to Tellium, Mr. Barcus held several senior executive positions at ADC Telecommunications including general manager for the Metrica Division (Mobile Software) and vice president of sales and marketing for the Transmission Systems, Broadband Communications and Video Systems Divisions. While at the Video Systems Division, he restructured the sales team and increased sales 200% over the previous year. His reengineered customer service and QA groups improved customer service ratings an average of 300 % and reduced product return rates by 75%. As vice president of the Transmission Group he was responsible for $160 million in revenues and an operating budget of $10 million. Prior to joining ADC, he held senior management positions in sales, marketing, customer service, product development, engineering and operations at Fujitsu Network Systems, MCI, Ameritech and NSA.

Mr. Barcus has been a keynote speaker at industry association conferences and has been published by the International Engineering Consortium. Mr. Barcus holds a bachelor's from Aurora University and an MBA from George Mason University.




Jeffrey B. Bartlam
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Bartlam, is the chief financial officer of Gatekeeper - Mr. Bartlam has over 20 years of experience as a financial professional, operational executive, investment banker, and valuation expert.

In addition to his CFO role at Gatekeeper, he serves as a Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer at NewRoad Partners, LLC which he co-founded in January 2002 with Tom Kilcoyne and Dick Barcus. Prior to founding NewRoad Partners, Mr. Bartlam served as Chief Executive Officer of Lightningcast, Inc, a dynamic streaming media advertising company. Mr. Bartlam began at Lightningcast as Chief Financial Officer and successfully raised over $20 million in venture capital for the company from Nokia Venture Partners, Birchmere Ventures, and Redleaf Ventures prior to being promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Prior to working with Lightningcast, Mr. Bartlam was a founding member and Chief Financial Officer of MercExchange, LLC a company that has successfully developed and built a variety of internet auction software and intellectual property.

Previously, Mr. Bartlam had extensive experience as an investment banker, having served as First Vice President for Morgan Stanley, and a Vice President for Kidder Peabody & Company. He also served as Managing Director for Markowitz & McNaughton, and represented Fortune 500 clients in their buy-side acquisition programs closing over 50 different transactions in three continents.

Mr. Bartlam has been a featured speaker for "Merger Week", which is sponsored by the American Management Association as well as for the Society of Competitive Intelligent Professionals. Mr. Bartlam is a recognized expert in private company valuations and has been published in a variety of publications including M & A Today and M & A Quarterly.

Mr. Bartlam graduated from the University of Virginia in 1986 with a B.A. in Economics.

Mr. Kilcoyne, is responsible for all marketing communications at Gatekeeper. Mr. Kilcoyne has over 25 years of operational experience in executive leadership, management and marketing in information technology, telecommunications and consumer products in both large and emerging growth companies.

In addition to his executive marketing role at Gatekeeper, he serves as Managing Partner at NewRoad Partners, LLC which he co-founded in January of 2002 with Jeff Bartlam and Dick Barcus.

Prior to NewRoad, served as an officer of Veridian a publicly held company specializing in mission-critical security programs for the national intelligence community, the Department of Defense, and government agencies involved in homeland security. While at Veridian, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the company's Veritect subsidiary, a leading managed security services provider. During his tenure at Veritect, Mr. Kilcoyne oversaw the restructuring of the company's strategy and operations, resulting in increased profitability that led to the successful sale of the company in July of 2002.


Thomas J. Kilcoyne
Senior Vice President of Marketing
Prior to his service at Veritect, Mr. Kilcoyne was CEO of RedCreek Communications, the creator of many innovative communications systems for virtual private networks. At the request of the Board of Directors, Mr. Kilcoyne engineered a major reorganization of the company that resulted in increased revenue, improved profitability and the acquisition of the company by SonicWall in late 2001.

As CEO of Simplexity for which he raised $50 million (recently sold to Inphonic). Mr. Kilcoyne served as VP & GM of HP.s e-commerce software division, helping with acquisition and integration of VeriFone where he was previously a GM in their e-Commerce division.

Prior to HP, Mr. Kilcoyne served as Vice President of Marketing Communications for MCI responsible for all communications activities for MCI's multi-billion dollars Consumer Markets group. This included strategy development, positioning andintegration of over half a billion dollars annual spending in advertising, public relations, customer communications, direct marketing and market research. Managed the entire sales and marketing effort for MCI's highly successful 1-800-COLLECT brand. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kilcoyne held senior level marketing positions with Gillette and Nestle.

Mr. Kilcoyne holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a MBA from Loyola University in Los Angeles.
